Floreat Wandsworth Primary School and Nursery is fortunate to have access to GLF Schools Teacher Training as a part of GLF’s broader organisation, and we also benefit from GLF SCITT core training once a week in GLF schools in both Surrey and Oxford/Reading.
Floreat Wandsworth Primary School and Nursery, as part of GLF Schools, is committed to professional development from the very start of your teaching career and values collaborating with the GLF Teaching School Hub, which offers training to trainee teachers, early career teachers and leaders. GLF as a Trust is proud of its Teaching School Hub status which has been given to only 87 other schools in the country, recognising our expertise and experience in delivering high quality teacher training at all levels.

Our Training Venues
We currently train both Primary and Secondary teachers at The Beacon School in Banstead, Surrey, Aureus School in Didcot, Oxford and Highdown School in Emmer Green, Reading.

Training Routes and Further Information
We offer a range of routes into teaching; employment-based routes, fee-paying routes, full and part-time training routes and assessment only in both Primaty and a range of Secondary subjects.

School Experience
We believe that having some school experience is highly beneficial if you are considering training to be a teacher as it allows you to see the nature of the role and ensure that it is right for you before you apply or undertake your training.
